Region 5 Prevention Resource Center provides the following services:

*Prevention resources (pamphlets, posters, stickers, bookmarks, activity and coloring books)

*Informational booths for health fairs and community events

*Educational presentations on alcohol, tobacco and other drugs

*Video lending library

Minors and Tobacco

*Tobacco retailer visits

*Tobacco prevention presentations for minors, parents and other community members

*Community tobacco prevention resource

Spotlight on Smokeless (SOS)

The Region 5 PRC provides this smokeless tobacco curriculum to Middle and High Schools within the Region 5 area.  This five lesson curriculum provides area students  with the knowledge and skills needed to resist smokeless tobacco.  The PRC provides each teacher who implements this curriculum a Teacher's Manual and student workbooks for each student.
