The literature listed on this web site is from the PRC5 Clearinghouse Catalog and is distributed by the Region 5 Prevention Resource Center as a service of the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Our function is to provide information and materials to the public on drug prevention. These materials are available at no cost within the Region 5 service area. Individuals may request samples of any of the material. However, in the interest of serving the most people, we reserve the right to limit quantities to any one customer.

Any materials listed in the PRC5 Clearinghouse Catalog which were designed and developed by TCADA, CSAP, or NCADI, are public domain and may be reprinted or copied. We invite you to make additional copies to fit your needs. This does not include copyrighted materials we acquired from outside vendors.

1. You can check-out a maximum of six (6) items at one time, with a check-out period of seven (7) days.
2. Unless prior arrangements have been made, please return all materials on their due date.
3. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 5:00; closed from 12:00 - 1:00. It is best to call before you come to the office, due to periodic closures during times such as restocking of display racks and drug information presentations.

1. In consideration of the entire community of ATOD providers and individuals seeking to learn more about ATOD, please make every effort to return you borrowed materials in a timely manner.
2. We reserve the right to make every effort to contact you regarding late items and appreciate your making every effort to contact us regarding an extension if you know the items will be late.
3. Because we make reservations for certain items, including videos, we may not be able to grant the extension.
4. We reserve the right to refuse future check-out privileges to individuals who are chronically late in returning materials.
5. Should an item become lost or damaged (i.e. due to heat in a car or malfunction of your machine), we will request that you make a donation to the Council equivalent to the replacement cost of the item(s).

1. A subject/title inventory list of all literature is available upon request.
2. There is no charge for literature in limited quantities (25 or less of each title).
3. Larger quantities (more than 25) are available for non-profit entities only, depending on library inventory .
4. Posters are available upon the request of the patron. There is no charge for posters with a limit of three (3) each.
5. We reserve the right to use our own judgment on requests for all literature based upon quantities available and the size of the request.
